Before becoming an award-winning author, Michael K. Smith trained as a mechanical engineer, and built a highly successful auto parts business, which he sold in 2000. Upon retiring, Smith took up fishing, golfing, cooking, and playing bridge. He became a card-carrying oenophile, and even took on editing a local newspaper.
Throughout his life's journey, the one constant has been his exceptional talent for telling stories. And so, in 2013, Smith decided to share his stories with the world—one book at a time.
"...succinctly chilling...A worthy addition to WWII resistance literature."—Kirkus Reviews
"Smith brings Dedee's bravery to light in an action-packed narrative...a gripping, inspiring account...." —Blueink Reviews
